Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of NIM Compress, operated by NIM (Nexinfinity Meta). By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

NIM Compress compresses files — images in your browser, and larger media (video, audio, PDF, archives) on our servers. We offer a free tier and may offer paid plans and a developer API.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload or process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don’t have the rights to;
  • upload malware, or attempt to attack, overload, or probe the service;
  • circumvent rate limits, quotas, or access controls, or share API keys to evade them;
  • resell or redistribute the service except as expressly permitted (e.g. via the API terms).

Accounts & API keys

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure and for all activity under them. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content

You keep all rights to your files. You grant us only the limited, temporary license needed to process a file you submit and return the result to you. As described in our Privacy Policy, we don’t retain your file contents.

Availability & “as is”

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that compression results, uptime, or processing times will meet your requirements. Always keep your own copy of important files.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NIM (Nexinfinity Meta) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
